Accessibility

Built to be usable by everyone.

CAS is an engineering organization — and accessibility is an engineering requirement, not a decorative add-on. This page documents exactly how this website is built for access.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Semantic structure

Pages are built with real landmarks — header, navigation, main, footer — and a single descriptive heading hierarchy per page.

  • Keyboard operation

Every interactive element — navigation, the ⌘K search dialog, carousels and forms — is reachable and operable by keyboard, with visible focus states.

  • Motion respects preferences

The hero intelligence field renders as a static frame under prefers-reduced-motion, and all entrance animations complete instantly.

  • Contrast and theming

Text colors are tokenized and tested in both light and dark themes; the system theme preference is respected via prefers-color-scheme.

  • Forms that explain themselves

Every form field is labeled, validation errors are announced in plain language, and required context is requested inline — never through color alone.

  • Images and icons

Meaningful images carry alternative text; decorative visuals — including the hero canvas — are hidden from assistive technology.
